Chic After Fifty

Were you missing my #selfieinthekitchen? I bet you were!

So it is expressly for you, my beloved readers and followers, that I brought my selfie gears all over to Los Angeles!

I am actually in Arcadia (very near to Pasadena), visiting a friend of mine. She has a beautiful home and a very American kitchen. I couldn’t resist to take my selfie there!

I am on my way to meet a cousin, Paola Da Re (yes she has the same last name) who I haven’t met since we were kids… she lives in Los Angeles and she is on the way to open a real Italian deli. It was originally thought to be called La cucina Da Re (it sounds very promising in Italian), but then it began Pasta Sisters… I will tell you when they open and I am sure you will be able to have some truly Italian food!

But let’s go back to what I wear: khaki pants bought for 10 dollars in a non descriptive store, a shirt I bought in Italy before leaving (I took the label out, so I can’t tell you the brand) and my usual Merrel sneakers. As always, simple and casual chic. And after all, I am on holiday!
