With the today #selfieinthekitchen, it is more important to show you the labour of my hairdresser than the ankle boots…
I have been to the hairdresser on Saturday, and I hadn’t planned to shorten my hair. I just needed the color and a bit of restyling, to make it more #50chic and #chicafter50. But you know, weird as it seems, my hairdresser can be trusted. He doesn’t go with the fashion or with his own ideas. He doesn’t try to convince me that I would look great with very short hair or a strong black color or whatever. He seems to respect his customers. How weird is that?
As for the ankle boots, I felt them necessary today: I had played tennis for two hours yesterday, having fun and running a lot, and my feet are really resenting it. So comfy shoes was a must! I am wearing my purple skirt and the grey sweater (home made) which is the only one that really goes with it.
You know my weekends are alway quite busy, even when I plan to relax. Saturday, for instance, after the hairdresser I went to Casalpusterlengo where my cousin Patrizia, the painter, was presenting her engravings of the Genesis, also collected in a book. She is so natural and simple when she talks about art, and she really gives the idea of the work that there is behind a painting or a work of art. She makes you want to take the challenge and try to do something!
Well, that’s all folks.
Have a nice day!
