Chic After Fifty

I was supposed to wear one those beautiful paper necklaces made by my friend Verde Alfieri  for New Years Eve. I was in Montecarlo for a tennis clinique, as you know, and when it turned out New Years Eve’s cerebration would have been a dinner followed by a toast in the central square of Monaco (watching the fireworks that the Prince had finally decided to do) followed by a long walk back to the hotel, I realised the outfit I had prepared was the wrong one… high heels? Little sleeveless black dress? No way! I reversed to my usual jeans and a thick and warm sweater, beanie and gloves!

What happens to the necklaces?  I just left them where they were!

But I wanted to show them to you anyway…

And this one would have been the one! Isn’t it lovely? Isn’t it chic, #50chic and #chicafter50 and chic again and again?
