Here’s a very simple example of dressing with the “onion” technique. A technique very effective in spring and autumn, when the weather is changeble and unpredictable.

Moreover, it’s Friday! Well, I guess you have understood from my outfit that the publishing business is quite informal, when it comes to clothes. Of course the big bosses (which are practically all men, and I make myself not to make any comment) respect the dress code of jacket and tie, but all the other employees and contributors have a very informal style. I fit very well in this!

So this morning, getting ready for the usual selfie in the kitchen before going out, I started with a pair of jeans (Calvin Klein, they have a bit of elastam in them and they fit very very well) and a grey T-shirt (Stefanel). Then I put a darker gray long sleeved T-shirt (Subdued) and then the green “soprabito” (Zara). You might have noticed that I don’t wear the usual Barrito shoes, or the Merrell‘s sneakers, but a pair of ballerinas (Lolita). Did I said I didn’t like them much? I did. But I find they add a certain allure to this outfit. They go very well with the trousers, they give them a fifties’ look that I quite like… do you agree?

And of course, I am wearing the usual smile. How could I not?

Have a nice day!
