Another rainy day. Another #selfieinthekitchen with yellow light… I have tried to use just the natural light, and it didn’t work. I don’t know when I will have the time to look for a lamp that will solve the problem.

But never mind. I make do with what I have!

Yesterday I was reading The Guardian (I have an iPad subscription), which is my favourite newspaper, and there was an article about keeping a diary, how useful is, how interesting it will be to read it in ten years time. I felt the urgency to take a booknote and start one; I felt some guilt for not having done it yet. But then if I hadn’t kept one before fifty, maybe it is not my cup of tea. And then I also thought, well my blog is a sort of diary. Every blog is a sort of diary. And mine is also illustrated!

This morning I started from the shoes. I have these loafers which I like very much but use very little. They are somewhat too classic. Classic can be boring, don’t you think?

Trying to be creative, as I explained yesterday, I thought about a classy classic, with (Gap) boyfriend jeans (not baggy or worn out, though), white T-shirt (Zara) and beige cardigan (Pennyblack). No jewels apart from the usual watch (I have spend all summer without a wrist watch and I missed every day) and a ring. Since it rains I have also put on a short trench (the one I had in Torino for the Salone del libro).

I am quite satisfied…

Have a nice day!
